    ... just say I'm a fan. We made our way down, admiring the cows and making friends with a cat. We finished out hike and were back at the train station around 6pm, so with the minimal stopping we did, that's about a 6 hour hike. We took our trains back down the rest of the mountain and headed back to the hostel for some much needed showering. The day doesn't have to be quite over yet, so we're going to try to go out and enjoy our last night in Switzerland! Bonne nuit et baisers de ...

    ... of Bern.......which means "bear" in English. A casual afternoon as we walked through the old town of Bern and eventually made our way to our restaurant where we dined on a delicious meal of mashed potatoes, gravy and a cutlet.......not that different than back home!!!!     We could see the beautiful Aare river flowing by. The river was so clean and pristine it is unbelievable. Wonder why we cannot take care of rivers well in India:(

    ... tall man and a very intelligent man too. I think he knows about seven languages. He was just as welcoming as the others. It was great to be with a family and be loved and cared for like we were their own children. We had a nice dinner on the river because it was our last night as their guests so it was like a final farewell. Again we were very thankful that they welcomed us into their home and into their lives. I only wish to have more relationships across the world like this ...
