We would get it back only if our rooms were certified ...

By the time I was washed and packed and ready for breakfast it was light and the rain was coming down like mad. I made a quick run to the restaurant and even in that short period ...

... bikers and LOTS of big German cars. We thought we should have kept count of the number of Porsches spotted – we would have been in double figures before we left Baden-Baden…there were 2 in our small underground car park to start with.

... watched the multimedia show at the tourist centre which told of Bern's history.

Bern was briefly taken over by the French (napolean time) drawn by its wealth - they took their money and bears(?!). After a massive fire - the houses were rebuilt in stone ( common story across Europe).

The view of the charming city was great from Rosenberg and we also soon saw why there were so many police officers all around the city today. There was the Basel soccer fans matching - ...
