... fog brought us to Oeschinen.

After a hot coffee we started our leisurely hike up to the Unterbergli. The hike exposed us to fantastic views of the lake and the fantastic surrounding mountains as the weather cleared up very fast and we got a nasty sunburn. Really breath taking.

... but so exciting knowing we are on the cusp of creating a real global company. I'm ready to jump right in and learn everything I can and hopefully contribute more than what I take away.

Stay tuned as our our family makes our adjustment to life in far we are in love with Switzerland and you can see the importance they place on family and quality of life. Raising children is a very strong focus here.

... Still, I was able to get a five-pack of Daim™ Milka™--aaaahhh, the pleasures of Kraft owning everything--for under 5 SFr (slightly more in USD, but less in euros), so I did like this place.

PS that Daim link is actually pretty interesting, I've just found. I've always thought Daim tasted a good deal like Heath, but it turns out that Heath just gave Daim the recipe.

In 1848 Bern became the Federal Capital of Switzerland. It is Europe's most flower decorated city and has also been designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and is the seat of diplomatic missions and several international organizations. The romantic medieval streets feature 6 km of arcades and shopping.

I had seen the Swiss Rifle Museum listed on the tourist map, so decided to have a look at that. On the way, I passed a Camera shop ...
