... time, so we stopped and went over and watched the mechanics cleaning all the bikes and the chefs have their own trucks and were cooking for the riders as well.

Then we had tea and headed back to Pouzolles because Mum had booked the hotel in Sainte Maxime for the wrong year!!!!

We got home at 11.30pm.

We all went straight to bed without unpacking the car.

... chefs in the hotel car park so we went over and watched the mechanics fix and clean the bikes. When we left we saw Contador having tea with a mate outside.

On the motorway Mum realised she had booked our hotel in Sainte Maxime for the wrong year. So we decided to head home an extra 100kms! We got home at 11.30pm and were so tired we didn't bother unpacking the car we just went inside to bed.

... now I had to take a photo of the guy having his coffee (and smoke) next to the gas pump....but then realised it was charging in Francs...it was simply a decoration...phew My indomitable navigator then had a course set for Valensoles. A helpful shop assistant had told us to visit and see the fields of blue lavender and normal stuff too. Was amazing, but hard to photograph. There were fields and fields full ...

Before I start on Route Napoleon, let me recap yesterday when there was no blog.

In this part of the world it was Fathers Day and, of course, it was a Sunday, so it seemed like the perfect lazy day. I managed to catch a few hours of the Le Mans 24 Hour car race on TV (with English commentary on iPad), listen to the Eagles scrape home, the Bombers get flogged (well just beaten) and watch the French win the World Cup football ...
