... for. Their establishment is also famous for the clockmaker family of "Tribears", created in 2006, that is outside their shop. We visited the Black Forest Open Air Museum at Gutach which is a forum for the entire region, carrying out research projects and cultural heritage and development of the region and was set up in 1964. This morning maintenance decided to change the fuel pump on the water heater as we still have a small water leak, we then walked into the village to buy some bread. After a short drive we arrived at Colmar-a beautiful town with cathedrals, timbered houses and canals running through ...

The medieval towns of Ribeauville and Riquewihr were our destinations today. These very quaint towns are about 1.5hrs from Haselbourg and were recommended as worth the visit by a number of people we met over the last week and we were not disappointed. The towns are very close to each other so it was quite easy to spend a few hours in each town and still have time to explore other villages in the area. Both towns are full of half timbered homes ...
