... A lady in the town square was selling donuts so we bought some and it took so long to find a place to get lunch that by that time I had eaten 3 donuts!! Mon Dieu!! A Nanna nap (donut coma) was called for before we headed out for dinner. Our hotel caters for coach tours and so the restaurant at the hotel was full and very noisy so we opted for the Turkish restaurant across the road....for old times sake!!! ... cold weather, it was just the right time for us to finish our wonderful Alps adventure. We were blessed with a safe trip, lots of great memories, and tons of photos, but after 75 days, over 7,000 miles and 64 passes, we were ready to head home. We boarded our plan in Frankfurt, happy and a little road weary, knowing that we had just completed a milestone, content with the knowledge that there were lots of great roads and places left to see – next time.
