... breathtaking to see all the luxury yachts in the marina. Visited the Royal Palace (residence of Prince Albert) and the cathedral where Princess Grace is buried. Checked into our room, it has 2 queen sized beds and views of the casino and mountains as the back drop. Then went for a wander and had a lovely dinner and wine. Stood in front of the casino and watched all of the Ferraris, Lambourghinis, etc drive by. Plenty of wealthy people around ...

Yesterday evening was eventful to say the least. We had a couple of drinks at ours before heading to Wayne's where the whole 'let's just have a quiet one' plan went completely out the window. Supplied ...

... night to check it out and see all the famous places that we have read about over the years. We left the Silver Beast at home and opted for the train, which was about a 15 minute walk from our hotel. The train ride itself from Juan Les Pins to Cannes was also about 15 minutes. The Cannes train station is a few blocks off the action, but once we hit the main drag it was full on glitz and glamour. The road was busy and full of really expensive cars, I ...
