... around the village, quite pleasant. Tours is 7 km away with a cycle path all the way, will give that a go tomorrow with the dogs in their trailer.

Ended the day in Brehemont, after a few miles of treacherous driving, thanks SatNAv!!. Beautiful campsite, although a little oddity with the toilet paper, one roll for three toilets, you must guess what you need and take it in with you!!

Lesson learned in the pub, don’t ask for a small and a large beer, large is pint, small is ...

... a bit cold. Everyone warms up with a wine tasting at a local shop.

Returning to the hotel, we have some time to pack for departure tomorrow. After a brief farewell party in the hotel's bar we drive to the town of Tours for dinner -- a gastronomic extravaganza at a local Michelin-rated restaurant: Charles Barrier. It is a perfectly delicious ending to an opulent and extravagant tour!

... Sovereign Hill. A bit commercialised. Last surprise of the day: driving though the forest and having to stop,suddenly so that I wouldn't hit the 7 wild boar that decided to run across the road in front us. A slow start catching some sleep and a little rain meant we got out on the bikes well after lunch. Glad we did because we found 10 km away down a little byway a farm market held every month. In the barn were stalls with cheeses, asparagus, honey, strawberries, foie gras, guinea hens and ducks for sale. Quite a steady stream of cars arrived and kids played, ...
