      We have found another place we would like to come back to. Our stay in Verona was just perfect. The old city is very easy to get around, and there were hardly any tourists, so no queues to get into the museums and churches, which was a plus after our last stops.       ... to the Vecchio Castle across the river and guess it was to house the military as one building was definitely stables. Crossed back over the river to the old side and found a cafe for lunch. Had to wait till 1.30pm for the castle museum to open so wandered around the grounds. Castle is surrounded by a moat and entry is via a drawbridge.
