Yet another journey to the playgrounds of the rich and the famous on the French Riviera. We jumped into Fifi and hit the highway for the gorgeous town of St Tropez (pronounced San Tropay), now look at the title of today's blog and you will see the poet in me;-) It is approximately just over an hour south of Cannes and I must admit it was nice being back on the road again, giving Fifi a run. There is only one way in and one way out of St Tropez and ...

... climbs in our granny gear at a speed of about 8 km an hour. Rowe was slightly stronger on the hills and was probably doing about 10 kph. Parts of this climb were like a never ending Pink Lake hill. Anyway we are pleased to say we all made all the hills for an accumulated total climb (from Dave's GPS) of 2000M. The scenery in the Gorge is simply spectacular. I hope you will get a sense of the ...

... thought it was tough paddling into the wind up until now, it was nothing compared to the effort that was required to get under the bridge. The arch acted as a wind tunnel and when I saw the effort Mike and Mikayla had to put in ahead of us, to get through, with the extra weight and strength, I knew it was going to be a slog. Sarah and I gave it our all but no matter how hard we tried to stay head on into the wind we couldn’t keep on track and ...
