... I am into the gin. Suz is cooking salmon with potatoes and cauliflower we have not cooked for a few days so it's a chore again. SOMEONE who shall remain nameless she said it was me I say it was her emptied the water from the hot water cylinder So we have had fun with that. Luckily I did it in Tockholes so knew how to fix it. ... trouble eating the dinners sometimes, too much, despite all the calories we must burn up walking. So this was just perfect. Amr also wants me to mention that the wifi code at this place had 37 characters!!! It took both of us 4 goes to get on!!! So we left at about 8.45, and just as it started to rain! ... had a harbour, which you went accross to get to Spain (two minutes) if you liked and a brilliant cycle path around the whole place which ended up at the old town atop the hill. Shadowy squares, glimpes of old warehouse for its once thriving sardine trade and views of the Pyrenees in the backgound. Plus has a lovely coastal walk which we did some of, it goes all the way to St Jean de Luz- next time.....

... train station. The taxi driver wasn't the happiest when I explained where I was going - it was not a very big journey. The ibis room was basic but clean and the staff were very helpful. After unloading my bags I went for a wander to get my bearings, found the tourist office and also the main shopping areas and tourist attractions. The tourist info centre wasn't open on Sundays so I would have to return tomorrow to check out the bus details for travelling to San Sebastián. ...

... Sunday today all the shops are closed so I purchased a baguette and cheese for breakfast and lunch. But during the night the cheese smelt so much I thought I was doing something. I ended up throwing the cheese out, I was saved though from bread only by walking pass a pâté factory and they were selling tins of froie grass at the gate. I have made a miscalculation and I still have 29kms ...
