It was 8 o'clock, yet we got one of the first tables at Txotx, a traditional Basque cafe, recommended by our guide. By the time we left - closer to 10, the place was filling with locals. ... from Australia. Monday 15 I decided to have a reasonably relaxed day today - even stayed in bed until 7am. I have been opting for breakfast in the hotels as most offer a good selection. I have particularly enjoyed having cereal and yogurt and fruit - even though it may be tinned fruit. There are always the traditional croissants and baguettes, ham and cheese.
