Martine drove us through the Pyrenées into Spain, this morning. We explored San Sebastián and then had tapas for lunch. It was fun to try out our Spanish. We found a great ice cream shop and also bought some souvenirs. From there, we went back into France and spent some time in Saint Jean de Luz. Noted the road signs are still in two languages- now French and Basque. Arrived at our camp for the night in the small town of Orhez. Needed to try our poor French again but we managed. Soft rain as we finished dinner. Hope for a quiet night. Tomorrow I ...

... in his age group - 65 plus. Also talked to two Dutch cyclists. They are cycling 2,800 Kms from Holland to Santiargo. It's been so hot my back feels like its in a warm bath, in fact I think it helps with back pain as the heat relaxes the muscles. I'm in a room with three beds but so far I'm the only one in the room. The room is at the back of the restaurant. They also have six caravans ...
