... and get the plane to Singapore. We should be sleeping in a hotel bed this time next week at Bintan Island and while this has been a fantastic trip I will be glad of a bigger bed and some luxuries.
Very warm regards to you all - we are missing the dogs heaps and we pat as many here as possible.
More news soon but not sure where from - it may not be until Bintan.

... of the dishes (which were written in a flowery script that made the names even harder to decipher), and the waiter struggled to translate. So we thought, well it’ll all be good, and none of it seemed to be brains or tripe, so we each ordered one option of all three courses. One of the first courses was no longer available so we both had a salmon dish. Now I’ve eaten a lot of salmon but this was the best ever – firm ...
Nîmes, Languedoc-Roussillon, France kevino101... jason's ass music with peaks and valleys no less that 10,000 feet above sea leave in the lowest valley. gosh he hid it well before moving in!

... lavender is that the fields look pretty much the same before and after harvest. Frankly, I enjoyed the wine tasting experience more in California. The people were much more friendly. At one Domaine the woman stared silently at me as I sipped a series of three reds, starting with Cotes-du-Rhone and ending the Chateauneuf.
We enjoyed our morning in Orange the most. We started with breakfast at a cafe on a square, did a little window ...
... and creamy and very filling. I felt bad leaving some of it to go back to the kitchen, but a girl has to leave room for dessert! Also, the half bottle of Cotes du Rhone we were sharing was going down pretty smoothly.
Lucy's dessert was definitely the more visually compelling. She had three scoops of house-made ice cream: gingerbread, Calisson and banana flambee, which were accented with a little kumquat and a ...
Believe me you don't want the story but here are a few photos and videos of what was a wonderful adventure for the most part.
The bull running was a random and free event - just next to lovely beach. Camargue horses are breathtakingly beautiful in the wild.
Unfortunately no photos of characterful and cultural city of Arles because only took the camera out one day - the day we went to The Camargue obviously.
... On to Les Baux de Provence - another stunning hilltop medieval village in the Alpilles, again we had an hour to just wander through the streets & shops, very crowded & rather touristy. Last stop at Pont du Gard - amazing Roman aqueduct, easy walk from one side of river to the other over lower level. Returned to Avignon around 7pm, time for a quick shower then dinner at Le Brigadier du Theatre - very good.
Avignon, France traveltragic... station. We struck up a conversation. He's towing a massive wooden homemade trailor behind him. Says he only does 20 km a day because he has to walk it all. I ask him if his bike is broken. He says no, it works fine, but he has to walk otherwise his goat can't keep up. He's headed to France. With his goat. Why France?, I ask. Why not? He says. Why the goat? I ask. He looks at me like I'm stupid. I change the subject. Once into France the terrain soon became much more tame. A ...
Avignon, Provence, France rbruce... about 50m high. We also stopped in at Arles and checked out the ruins of some Roman bathhouses and the ampitheatre which is still used today for bullfights. Although the seating is supported by scaffolding, I would be worried some third century rock would fall on my head... That night we watched England do it's thing and lose to South Africa. We met some locals and helped them lay **** on the english, until late in the night.
Avignon, France mbackho... Avignon is famous for a bridge (or "pont" in French), a theater festival and being the home of the Pope for several centuries. You might have sung the nursery rhyme, something about the Pont du Avignon. Although the rhyme sings about dancing on the bridge, this never happened. It was more likely the song is referring to the parties held under the arches of the bridge. Avignon was also the site of the papacy for a few hundred years when the Pope ...
