      ... They wanted to sleep in after the exhausting previous day, but I wanted to accompany Ruth grocery shopping to have an idea of what it is like it here. I am glad I did because getting ones food and supplies can be another adventure in itself. I might be able to say more about it later.

      Ruth and I joined the boys for lunch and after playing with Monika’s two little children, we headed out to see the Bear Park, etc… I can’t remember what else.

      Kuru hospitality is just so absolutely lovely. Sid and Muneera treated me to a wonderful Sunday and Rais charmed me from the moment he crawled out of his cot. Scrambled eggs (they are getting better every time I visit, Sid!) and croissants combined for a very relaxed breakfast and Rais provided the entertainment with a repertoire of hoovering, CBeebies dancing and lion impressions.

      ... you carry your own bags, and you only have to show up 1 minute before your train leaves. They are also almost always on time. Our train ride took 6 hours, and we had to change trains once in Zurich. But we arrived in Bern, and found that our hostel was about a 10 minute walk from the train station.
