... be him with everyone in black wetsuits and white swimming hats it's difficult to spot anyone, So we dash to the swim exit and 16 minutes later he runs up the ramp well up in his group. Now three laps of the bike course he acknowledges his support crew's cheers, five noisey supporters with Union Jack waving , no wonder he is going well. On to the run its now a breeze for Graham who runs past the faster cyclists into the home straight . 2nd GB 9th ...

... is beautiful with a lovely big room, wide balcony overlooking the pool and out to sea, and a bath. We walked down into the village of Pietranera, just out of Bastia, and unfortunately we couldn't find any sandy beaches, only a few little pebbly ones. Not too late a night for the travellers and the triathlete who was going to be up ...

... a canal under the massive Notre Dame church here. We had lunch of Croque Monsieurs for Jeff & I (essentially a ham and cheese toasty) and Bev had a huge chicken sandwich with a Cinderella cocktail. Ooh la lah! Surprisingly (and disappointingly for Bev), there were not many souvenir shops here (lots of shops selling market style clothes though) and not too many tourists. For such a pretty place we expected it to be a little overrun but ...

    Geneva part 1

A travel blog entry by stephandmarty on Jan 19, 2015

We were welcomed to Geneva by our beautiful friend Hayley, who gave us a room in her home, slippers, pyjama pants and some amazing dinners. It was great to chill out, air on the couch and catch up.
Though the weather wasn't inviting, Bailey, the cutest, 3-month old, chocolate Labrador was begging for a walk. We took him to the Lake and the Old town, but after an hour, ...
