... can't believe I actually got to experience it!
The first thing we saw when we got off the bus was a dog sledding team, I knew immediately that I would love it up there. The dogs were all so excited to get running and I was just holding myself back from going up and saying hi to all of them!
I spent the day snowshoeing around the mountains and got to see a few mountain ...
... found a bakery where I rewarded my success with a "pain au chocolat" and waited until I saw the others return so we could get back on the bus for the two hour ride back.
Let me just take this moment to say thanks to all the good bus drivers out there, especially in France. It just amazes me sometimes how we made it up and down those hairpin turns and parked 1 foot from another bus.

... didn't have a ticket and not even an idea about when to fly.
To be able to answer this I booked a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Perth, this will be at the 15th of march. When I arrive in Perth all i have to do is go to the bank office to show them that I am who I say I am.
The only things that are left to do are:
- Get a proper travel insurance
- Get a TFN
- Send some ...
... and family back in Canada a little less.
After soaking in all the fresh air and clean water and powder skiing we could in 10 days, (it was so nice to see the kids detached from electronic devices!), we headed home to Lyon and to our new flat, leaving the snow and a little Christmas magic behind us.
... stranded in their cars in the snow that night. Eventually this friend got home in 36 hours to find their luggage left behind.
I would have to ski. I'm a bit of a wimp. I didn't want to break bones. It was all rather nerve-wracking. I cautiously followed the others to the slopes looking like a giant toasted marshmallow with an added hired helmet for protection and some rather uncomfortable, ridiculously hard to get into and walk ...
