      ... Christmas magic.

Aussois is a stunning town on the edge of a national park and we were not disappointed... except that there was absolutely no snow! The entire alps region was snowless -- this on the first and only time we would be spending Christmas in the Alps. We were constantly told how this has ...

I told her that it was going to be a bit of a dash as even if we started moving it would take 10 minutes to get in to Garibaldi Station and then 20 minutes by taxi uptown to Central Station......the guard also said the same thing..... We did start moving but there ...

... not without some frustration with a GPS unit that ran our of battery at a vital time when they were approaching Firenze. Both of them needed a strong cuppa when they arrived. We enjoyed a fun evening at a local trattoria,.. pizzas all around,. with a lot of laughs,.. and the obligatory gelateria to finish off the night. Monday morning,.. Coll and I got to play tourist guide showing the La****ns around Firenze. Shoe shops,.. and jewellery shops seemed to garner ...
