... so highly rated - it was awesome. We went from lakeside sidewalks to forest trails to backcountry farm roads. We rode through huge sunflower fields, gentle rivers, and picturesque villages. Our trip to a far away land...

After we loaded up the SUV from Trump Towers, we took the long 1 hour drive to O'Hare. We managed to get by with only 9 pieces of luggage. The Swiss cup finals was on tv and we watched the end there together was some very expressionless uncles. It went on to penalty shoot out where grasshoppers (the blue and white team) won.

So that's very much Bern.It had a lot of old town character but nothing very much to do or see - I guess we saw it on a very very quiet day too.

You may have thought this trip was over or almost, but it is not yet....

Last night the shuttle left the hotel at 6:15 pm, very early for a 10:40 pm flight, but it was the only shuttle time heading to the airport, so I took it. Check-in and formalities passed quickly; then I waited in the departure lounge until boarding time. The flight left on time and arrived on time in Paris, I was able to sleep about 3-4 hours. When I arrived there, they were extremely busy inside and moderately busy outside. It was so busy that the Waiters were actually running at times.
