        ... India and telling him to reset the cell. Shrinidhi purchased the currency and called using the public phone and explained the situation and task at hand to one of our common friend Tejus. A single call coasted him around INR 700. And even then we were not able to reset the cell.

        Hence at that point of time we were all upset because our friend lost his phone at the same time were also tensed that the one who stole it might misuse ...

        It departed as soon as it came.

        ... I'm near going to live that down. After our games Leandra and I hit the arcade to play a game of air hockey and found a "sport" that we actually like playing. A game of air hockey in Australia is quickly over with, but here a game can go for 10 minutes. Let me tell it it got pretty heated. It was equivalent to the grand final of a grand slam tennis match complete with a great display of technique, grunting, flared tempers, flying pucks nearly taking out on lookers, ...

        ... actually stopped falling and so off into the city I went.

        Bern is certainly a historic city and for sure one of the best preserved historic city's I have ever come across. Many of the roads are still cobbles and lined with old fashioned buildings. Monuments and fountains line the streets. The main city is built high up on the cliff edge above a large river which is in a very deep cutting. Large steel and stone bridges span this river and certainly give a historic feel to it ...

        ... climb a small mountain that was fairly local. After hiking most of the morning we made it to the top. From there we had an awesome view of the city and other mountains.         You may have thought this trip was over or almost, but it is not yet....

        Last night the shuttle left the hotel at 6:15 pm, very early for a 10:40 pm flight, but it was the only shuttle time heading to the airport, so I took it. Check-in and formalities passed quickly; then I waited in the departure lounge until boarding time. The flight left on time and arrived on time in Paris, I was able to sleep about 3-4 hours.
