    ... our first sailing with Seaborn. This we did and it was a happy occasion for all. Special hor doevres, pink champagne and a time to meet other passengers. Of course we chatted to quite a number. It was fun :) Dinner again and then up on the top deck to watch the ship leaving port in the glow of evening! Next on to a 'show' in the 'Grand Salon' with a great vocalist - Toni Warne- a finalist on BBC's The Voice UK. Another most memorable day- ...

    ... Aix- the very same old Aix-en-Provence first founded in 123 BC by the ancient Romans. UGH!!!
    It is brand new- standing where the tourism office used to be. But I digress...
    After our guests left Mary, Jan, myself, Cathleen, Courtney and Claire all went for a fabulous meal at Drole d'Endroit. We had so much fun, the food was superb, the staff friendly and the company divine!

    ... driver and one bloke stood up and said "Come on lads, let's shift it" off we got, a couple in each corner and we removed our obstruction. I'd love to have been there when the numpty returned. Finally we landed back at the ship after our 10 minute coach ride took us an hour and a half. We were in good spirits though and it was a much prettier drive back.     ... the tourist bureau where you have to cue for hours to get a tourist brochure. Forget it. We wandered around town taking in the sights and the shops but I wasn't really that impressed. Just another town. Not much atmosphere. The rain was coming in so we chose an undercover restaurant to spend some time while it passed. My lunch was very average. Again though the rose was great.
