Huge amounts have been invested at Mont St Michel on parking and people moving infrastructure; the shuttle buses with driver position at each end are free( paid for by parking fees). The bus terminus is on a causeway and the buses do not need to turn, rather efficient!

Tommy Lee tried to engage them in some sort of conversation but they kept on staring at us, not in an aggressive way but in a weird way, as if they had never seen humans before.

For once Garmin did itself proud, the roads were dry now it although it was cloudy, and we had some brilliant biking roads.
The only down side to picking 'shortest' is Garmin route planners will take you through some f**ker's front room if they could get away with it. So there was the occasional farm track and log pile but overall ...

I approached them in my pigeon French and the father of the dog took me to the other side of the car where there was a large photo of their current dog. It was so cute. I asked them about the picture of the collie and the father of the dog said" il est mort" and looked very sad . In France if you love your dog, you get a large photo detailed onto the side of your car. ...
