... tour, we stopped to try some traditional Slovak food at a restaurant recommended by our guide. The inside of the restaurant was very atmospheric; it looked like the inside of a beer hall. Banners hung from high above and large wooden tables were ready to take a spill. Our waitress was the standard terrifying, but the food was amazing (garlic soup and halusky (little gnokis covered in sheep’s cheese).
