... Toy Museum in Marion Platz, tiny, but sweet. The Rathaus has a great cafe, (outside is lovely but inside is a hoot) an art gallery and an elevator up to the viewing tower. I had a lovely dinner with friends at Il Molino, which I highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Schwabing, Munich. Fantastic!

Another day of wandering followed by Gabi taking me to see the South Africa Opera touring ...

... to wrap my mind around the fact that I was actually standing in the concentration camp where millions of people died and experienced extreme torture under the Nazi regime but after seeing the movie, I felt extremely moved. We walked around the entire camp, down the row where 30 barracks used to be and witnessed a replicate of what living conditions used to be like. At the end of the barracks we were able to see some memorials that were constructed during the renovation. ...
