Everyone around us were also looking worse for wear, but the breakfast put on by the organisers warmed us up and got us back on track. Over a week ago we tried to make arrangements to view the BMW plant during our stay in München. We were disappointed to learn that such bookings need to be made well in advance; currently between 6 to 12 months in advance. We are, therefore, extremely fortunate and delighted that our host, Richard, is able to connect links with some higher authorities in short notice to secure his newly-made Aussie acquaintances some tickets to tour of the BMW factory.
