... duh. Croissants good too! Everyone else got up- had to wake Kurt at 9:15 which was tough (apparently they were both up at 4am and Mark found them in the living room and made them go back to bed). We got ready and took the train to odeonsplatz. It was easy to buy the 3 day partner ticket from the machine. Their subway is very nice and clean - love Germany!! ... Similar to a well groomed central park. Then back to the hotel after shopping around a bit. We went out to Paulaner for dinner and drink, but all we had was giant pretzels because we were still so full from lunch! At this time I think we were both fatigued from absorbing so much in so few days, ready to go home, but not wanting to leave either. A very complicated bittersweet emotion.
