We got back in Basel late yesterday afternoon. We had lots of time to sort out our luggage and for mom and dad to repack for their journey today. Today it was time to say good-bye. They are driving back to Paris and flying home midday tomorrow. I had parked their rental car in an underground garage right by my apartment. ... have done enough wandering.<br><br>Personally I love aquariums and the one at the Basel zoo was really enjoyable. I spent enough time in it to annoy everyone else who wanted to go look at the big animals. We were there for several hours. The grounds are quite large and take a lot of time to cover. It is definitely an all day experience.

This was what I really came to Europe for. Freiburg was just the beginning of an awesome adventure for me. The mountains and the forest and the cake.
