... televisions on all night, and talked on the balcony above us until we had to wake the managers up at 12:30 a.m. to talk with them. The off site manager was nice enough to send someone over to talk to them - but it started up all over again the very next night. They badly need an onsite manager or office people all night. The noise was HORRIBLE!!!

... I think she was pretty shocked. It was great to see her! She has been living in Boise since late May and I am proud to say we were her visitors from California/Germany. After the introductions, we headed to Carino&#8217;s, an Italian restaurant (similar to Olive Garden, but better) to have dinner. ... We took a helicopter ride at Glacier since you can see more hiking but with my recent surgery I have limited use. Also in Glacier I got to try Huckleberry's which had come into season and they are delicious. They were coming into season when we were at the Gorge so I stocked up. <br><br>Most of Montana and western Washington is arid looking but if they water they can grow crops, trees and grass. ... als bis zur empfangsdame haben wir's allerdings nicht geschafft (haben uns auch nicht sonderlich mühe gegeben ;o)...<br><br>aber ein super steakhouse im stadtzentrum hat den aufenthalt hier doch noch 'herausgerissen' und auf dem weg in die berge, wurde mir doch tatsächlich von einem einheimischen ein paprika chip geklaut (siehe letztes foto).<br>

... choices (Meg watched Hanna Montana movie another 4 or 5 times, Paul got to watch the newest Star Trek, Bobby enjoyed Monster Vs. Aliens and there was a Monk episode for me. NO ONE even came close to fighting. Plus they had games for the kids, and even better, it wasn&#8217;t full so I scooted over across the aisle and got to lay down to sleep (more or less).<br><br>

... pilot picks a spot on the cliff and starts to set up a parachute, throws us a helmet, straps on a harness and we are ready to go. The only instruction is to run off the cliff when your pilot says &#8220;1,2,3 go&#8221; and not to stop running until your pilot says so. Joe was one of the first ones to launch, I watched him sail easily off the cliff. As I stood there reciting as many &#8220;Hail Mary&#8217;s&#8221; as I could, I soon realized ...

... the bell hop garment cart thingy what have you whatever you call it- ma-bob. Now here I am, bursting at the seams, hoping that this typing will burn enough calories to loosen my stomach just enough to not roll out of bed..... Word of warning: Eating too much Italian is bad. Also, tomorrow is the last day of the trip...... meaning the last post..... I'm not gonna lie... I'm a bit sad to see it go...... Tune in as we finally make it ...

... freezer at home. Kind of made me think twice about putting my groceries in the same fridge. Apparently elk meet is higher in protein and lower in fat then beef. It's also super cheap. We're turning in early tonight to get a good start on our camping trip this weekend. We're heading to Redfish Lake where red trout are abundant. There is supposed to be a glacier up there, but it might've melted away...damn Hummers. Updates coming soon.
