A friendly local kicks the dog mid stride and then smiles at me offering the customary "welcome" vodka.

... me 30 pounds for the "mini operation". I am not sure whether "the man" was required because women don't pay for things or because women don't understand simple instructions.

At the pharmacy, I receive a pack of antibiotics, a bottle of painkillers, a super mega antibiotic that costs $8 on its own and receives its own pack, and a bottle of mouthwash that looks like the Victorians might have recommended it.

... under the back of my knee. Dan was giggling and taking photos. The tinker. I tried diverting their attention to Dan but he was in the front and couldn't be stroked as easily. There was another stop for a photo at the town's sign post and didn't one of then try and get the leg over Dan. A brief respite for me. ... gorgeous mall and contains passenger gates on the periphery.

I am hoping to be able to leave the airport on my return layoer on the new shuttle that a lady told me was a 35 minute ride to Red Square. We shall see - I will have to obtain a transit visa to do so and am hopeful it can be obtained at the airport. Off tomorrow to get my visa for Kazahkstan. Stay tuned!
