Ueno: Visited the lovely park that is home to many of the capital's museum's including the National Museum which was holding a special exhibition of traditional japanese art that included goreous paintings on scrolls. The detail and the colours involved were breathtaking. The rest of the museum's collection is also very good with rotations of calligraphy and rare art on show so you're always sure to see something slightly different from the last time ...
