... way down to warm up while eating an Nussgipfel ( famous swiss Nut-sticks) Everywhere you go even on the Base-camp where the Lift brings you up to the Säntis you see Constructions going , they are really cementing and filling Switzerland with concrete this day's greatly diminishing the upon a time quality of Live with it.... it is getting too crowded at least for me ...

... towards the Eastern Alps. They were married in the Roseg valley with the Bernina Range in the background. The sun shone on the glaciers as we made our way along the trail. After lunch at the Hotel Roseg Gletschier (which specializes in desserts!) and a rest in the sun we continued the hike to the site of their wedding. It was a perfect day and a magical place. Max had fun crawling around while we soaked in the beauty around us.

Heidiland Yesterday, we had a later start to the day as did the 3rd tour, to the Heidiland region which commenced at 11am and returned at 7pm. Our guide Marcello is a lovely older, slightly rounded Swiss gent and asked each one of us what our nationality was as we boarded. While Marcello is a tour guide now in his semi retirement, he did the mandatory military service as a young man and then completed his chef apprenticeship which was his main career for 45 years. We had an amazing day out with Phil and Alison sightseeing in the Austrian Mountains near Friedrichshafen. We first visited the Breitechklamm Gorge which was just mind blowing. This gorge walk goes along for about 800m and is maybe 100m deep. It is so narrow that usually you can't see the sky.

They've constructed a walkway above the flowing water that goes through the gorge. It is incredible. There are ...
