... the road into Lindau, I spotted our hotel.

After checking in I waited in the Beer Garden for Les and Gilly and they eventually turned up 30 minutes later as the heavens opened up with a big down pour!

As the hotel appeared to have a nice restaurant and bar we decided to spend the evening there and we weren't disappointed with the steak that we ordered!

a boat which took us down river ...

bicycles and head out for a cruise around the shores of Lake Constance. Some
statistics: The Lake is 63kms long and 14kms wide and 250 meters deep at its
deepest. Needless to say we were never going to ride around the whole ...

... br> We were hoping to take a quick detour to Liechtenstein but missed the turn and there was no highway exit for nearly 50km so we didn’t turn around. Crossing the border into Austria wasn’t much of a change from Germany or Switzerland. Our first stop was the historic town of Bregenz on the edge of Bodensee (Lake Konstanz, the third biggest lake in Western Europe). The was the first town we left the motorhome parked while we went exploring. Given our ...
