... strudel. Just the icing on the cake. A wonderful day was spent & back to our hotel. Dinner was independent tonight so we found a lovely Indian restaurant next to our hotel. Vespers & best meal since I left home. And Greg had a lamb dish & I had a chicken one. A lovely walk through one of the gardens before retiring & walking off our tea completed a wonderful day. ... s bloody hard yakka driving in those conditions - you certainly need your wits about you, which is probably why I found it difficult....
Cold and very wet here, and snow on the mountains around us, so I think we will press on tomorrow, and try to get further south and away from this weather, and also the daunting prospect of the commencement of school holiday traffic tomorrow afternoon....and no bloody trains....
