A nice room, a grumpy reception, a good location. That's pretty much all you need to know. Worth what you're paying for.

Aujourd'hui ce termine mon aventure en Italie! Mais quelle aventure de reve! La quantites de choses que j'ai apprise, les idees que j'ai acquises et surtout les gens que j'ai connu ont fait de ce voyage un moment inoubliable ! I just left Milano where I took my last course of coffee and I loved it ! I'm actually very sad to leave this beautiful country and all my friends here, who knows when I will see them again? but it's now time ...

... golden arches. That's right - like a true product of seeing marketing all my life, I saw the McDonald's M and knew immediately that I wanted some french fries. We did it. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

... Safe wont open. Usual stuff. Dinner tonight was at Mama Rosas. Great wine and food, antipasta, zuchini chips, seafood pasta. ( after note: This was probably one of our best meals in italy, but we didnt realise it at the time). The meal was well paced and relaxed, not like France at all and shows me the italians take their eating pretty seriously. Food was seriously good but strangely no olives with ...

... is an interesting mix of old and new, with 15th century (and earlier) buildings, set in the shadow of modern skyscrapers. We focused on the old by touring some of the historic sites of Milan. Francesco impressed us with his knowledge of the history behind all of the sites, quoting dates, people, etc. We saw the Duomo (Cathederal) that had been primarily constructed in the late 1300's and was ...
