      ... then went to check into my new hotel, Hotel Rincon de San Jose. Hotel was much nicer than Hemingway Inn! Learnt that I was sharing with another girl but she wasn't there. Once that was done over to the Costa Rican side where there were none of these vultures as, basically they are not allowed there, the officials are helpful and it is ordered compared to all the others.       ... we only went a few metres from the hostel to Sancho's, a Mexican cantina owned by a couple from California. They recommended we share a plate of fish tacos, and they were unbelievably good.       ... like it was recently hit by a meteor shower. We learned later that they grade the roads 4 times a year and it was due to be graded this week, but the earthquake caused all resources to be diverted to help the damage in other areas. Check out the video compilation of our drive. Madness.
