      ... Fields museum and beautiful buildings. It is very pretty to walk on the old ramparts all around the city. At one of the city gates they hold a last post ceremony.       ... we ended up sitting on the bus for an hour and a half waiting for them. then a mad drive back to the ferry which included driving up the shoulder of the road because the ferries had been docked for the weekend due to a strike. Hubby did not remember this trip at all (he probably slept through all the bus bits) until we took the horse and buggy ride again tonight and that triggered all the stuff.       ... lost several times in the process. We passed churches, shops and small canals, also stopping at some souvenir stores to look at what was on offer. Josh and Wayne bought some 'Delirium' beer (voted best beer in the world in 2008). We also sampled some 'famous' Belgian fries with mayonnaise, which tasted just like French Fries, except that it was served in a paper cone.
