    ... like a tin can by the boot of an SS soldier, I was filled with sincerity and sorrow for him.     After our misadventure yesterday, we once again walked to the bike shop to go to Damme. No obstacles today, we got our two city bikes and started the 4 mile bike ride to Damme. The bike path to Damme, is along a canal and next to miles and miles of farmland. The farmland we have been seeing in the Netherlands and Belgium are so much more beautiful than in the states.     ... you make a mistake, and press C it clears everything, and you have to start again from scratch......Which I did.....about 30, or maybe 40 times........"Just singin' in the rain, What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again..."     ... down to the Hotel. It was a really nice run. The water in the canals was absolutely still to the right and the beautiful windmills sat still in all their colors to the left. Running in the morning has always been the best even though I am getting increasingly creaky at the beginning.
