It's German law that you must have a tour of the castles (ie you can't tour it yourself) so if we missed our time, we'd probably be out of luck.     ... everyone I met at the festival was super nice and friendly and just loved everyone and everything. I ended up hanging out with the Kiwis for the rest of my time there including the next morning when we continued the stoke festivities (unlimited sangria and beer, because why not).
