... complement the rich meal. Because our day started so early, we returned to the hotel close to 3:00pm, and had the afternoon and evening free to rest and tour the city on our own. Bon giornio family and friends
We've spent 10 beautiful days in Bologna with almost perfect weather. We expected cool temperatures but mostly we've had warmth (mid 70s) and sunshine. We've walked the city, eaten at many cafes and restaurants and have been enjoying every minute.

... and radicchio that was delicious. That was followed by the pasta course of ravioli. Half the ravioli were ricotta and herb filled, and half were filled with butternut squash. We continued with a radicchio salad and ended with a "chocolate salumi". Of course, there was plenty of Lambrusco flowing.
