Wow, what a wonderful experience I had this Thanksgiving. I went with a ski club out of this area and there were 100 Americans that went on this trip. We had the entire hotel for just us. They even cooked up a Thanksgiving dinner for us on Thursday. On Friday, we went skiing, and oh, what an amazing time this was. Cheeky Catch up with Nadia
A friend, Nadia, lives in Milan and after a random email exchange we decided to meet in Sion - close to being in the middle of Lausanne and Milan. After lunch and a stroll around Sion - which is turning into quite a cool place, we then drove to La Vaud and had some wine watching the sunset over the lake before heading to Lausanne to drop off Nadia. In the evening Ana and Stefan had a fab meal with Milagros in Pully - gorgeous evening out and the summer just keeps on giving.

... me to a double room with my own balcony and a huge bath for the sum I was supposed to be paying for their smaller single room.It seems most of the hotels will be closing next week in preparation for their winter season and some parts of the hotels are already undergoing repairs and cleaning. I am not complaining as it is nice to have a little bit of luxury before my next stop which will be a hostel

Me and the Alps
... somebody living in Toronto and today I feel like I am a somebody in the Swiss Alps - hahah kidding. Well pictures are pictures - nothing will capture all the senses the Alps will tickle. The fresh air, the sun beaming on your skin, the musical cow bells, and lastly the most spectacular view you will ever get to set your eyes on. Oh- and for some weird reason the coffee and tea taste SO much better 2800m high up! So if you get the chance to go, GO!
