After an uneventful drive, we arrived in Bressanone(Brixen) in the evening, just in time for some home cooked food prepared by friends, followed by a game of cards played with an interesting deck of cards. Hoping for better weather we went to bed with the aim of reaching Belgrade the following ...

    Dolomites to Paris

... fries(fancy style) and Ash had spaghetti bolognaise. The dishes were expensive, mine costing about $30 and Ash's costing $25 but what shocked us even more was the €6 each bottle of coke we had with it. That's $18 for two bottle of coke! We skied for a bit more before stopping for lunch outside in the ...

I wasn't sure if she was going skiing or visiting the moon... Haha. I got my board and Ash her skis and we were off to hit the slopes. There were some easy runs outside the hotel that were fun and allowed Ash to get back into the swing of things. She was doing pretty good and having fun! We decided, ...

    Venice to the Dolomites

A travel blog entry by jtate on Jan 18, 2015

Today we left the island of Venice and boarded a bus to the Dolomites. After napping on and off we came into view of the huge mountains. They were big and rocky with snow caps. I was beginning to get very excited for the snow!! The two hour bus ride came to an end and we arrived in the snowy town of Cortina. I had to find the ski office to pick up our ski passes before the next bus arrived to take use to our ...
