(yep - off the shelf), palace, church and a huge race track where they do trials (we could hear them in the background). It was like a rabbit warren in a way, but going up instead of down.

We went for an early morning walk to see the sunrise the next day. It was magnificent!

... as each seat filled the novelty soon wore off. It became cramped and uncomfortable... both physically and socially. As soon as we got to Austria however, the stunning views of the huge, steaming mountain forests, and ice blue rivers took our minds off the traveling conditions. On several occasions we couldn't help but gasp and 'wow' at the surroundings (which I felt quite guilty for doing because there was a blind woman in our carriage).

Am nächsten Morgen - nach Frühstück - Aufbruch nach Assisi - ca. 15 min. Fahrzeit. Da d** Parkplatz am Fuss des B**ges liegt auf dem die Stadt liegt - kurzes "Schlucken" - ab** in 10 min. warn wir beim Dom - dann ar wied** alles ok !
Assisi - eine wirklich wund**schöne alte Stadt , in die ich demnächst sich** mal auf läng** zurückkommen w**de.

No program for the afternoon so we planned our escape to the beach by the pool. Whilst it is difficult to leave the pool adventure is a foot. Cagli was an option but the beach had the greater pull. about a 45 minute drive to Fano. Denis Hieke Mandy & I set off after lunch but the clouds were set to close in on us as we headed towards the coast.

Fano is a topical Italian beach resort town. I have never seen so many beach umbrellas and ...

We left for Urbino after breakfast for a quick trip (Birth place of Raffaello - painter) of course coffee & gelati was part of our plans with some sights thrown in.

Nice place and worth the trip. No time to view the museo a bit of a shame as there is a section with Rafael.

We had some great views going over the mountains going to/from Urbino. Mandy is handling driving the larger car just fine.

... Naturally we got a t-shirt and the man showed us then his own garage with bikes he owned which was really special. He invited us for coffee but we had to get moving on. What a top day we had. Heading north we finally left the lowlands and reached the Dolomite mountains and camped by a lovely lake, Lake Garda. The lake is famous for windsurfing most of the year and the campsite catered for them. The views were beautiful of the soaring mountains behind us.

... sure miner etterpå. Egentlig skulle vi ha spist, men vi glemte det rett og slett. Vi traff nemlig to nye sveitsere, men diise to var gudinner. Lene og Kristina. Kristina var totalt nydelig, hun var 16år, men både snakket og så ut som en 20 åring. Vi gikk på en "coffee shop" å satte oss. Det var helt rått, jeg fikk øvet tysken min og flørtet litt, selvsagt hadde begge type, men det gjorde ingenting der og da. Jeg var helt fortryllet av Kristina, for en kropp, for en personlighet ...

Le cose pių belle sono successe in questo viaggio. Ho conosciuto gente dal tutto il mondo e ho fatto amici veramente di cuore. Al corso italiano che andavo ho conosciuto l'amore della mia vita e la persona migliore per girare il mondo. Ho cominciato a viaggiare molto purtoppo finora solo in Europa ma con la intenzione di andare dappertutto.
Milano, la grigia cittā secondo molti, la cittā pių brutta di Italia, per me era incredibile...
