... Brunch. Here we were joined by Johanna's mother, who coincidently had come to Bremen the night before and was also leaving on Monday. As they all had class and I had been to Bremen before (obvs), they all thought it would be a great idea for me to give her mother a guided tour of the city. Went to the bakery and supermarket on our bikes to get beer and food supplies for dinner tonight. We went for a city loop cycle. First we went north along the river into an industrial area and past the Kelloggs factory. Then we went south along the river past ...

So, as you should know by now, last month I briefly went back to Bremen for a weekend....with various excuses ranging from 'I need closure' to 'It's for research - Uni work' to quite simply 'Why not?!' the weekend flew by all too quickly, and made me realise once more why I love the city so much!

So, where to begin? Well I had been working endlessly from the moment I got back to Uni in September until early December, before the final pieces of work ...
