... It's awesome and noisy and threatening and joyful. Our lives are golden. We get to take it all in. Five pizza delivery motos rotate in and out in front of us. Lots of duct tape keeping them running and all together. Just like our spinning globe. Don't know how it all stays together and don't care. As long as it does. Strange encounters of a genuine kind. After some flight issues, Rob, Dave, and Lisa landed in Rome safely a day later than expected. Blake and I took the train back down to Rome from Cinque Terre to meet them for a night of fun before the cruise left the next afternoon. Our ship was Rhapsody of the Seas of the Royal Caribbean cruise line and we would ...

Weather: glorious. Slip, slop, slap.
6.30am arrived at the Island of Crete where we disembarked at Ag. Nikolaos (means Saint Nicholas) where Olive Oil products are paramount. The Cretan diet is known as one of the healthiest diets in the world (1/3 largest).
We did a tour of the Palace of Knossos where the Monoan Civilization thrived in the Bronze age (roughly 3,000 BC) within the Aegean. The palace was ...
