Amongst other things, the popular sights as well as the hills that were set on fire by a couple of beekeepers. We the headed off to the new Acropolis Museum which was really spectacular and featured artefacts from 570 BC, the frieze of the Parthenon. Many parts have been mutilated, either by destruction through history ...
... quite impressed with Lufthansa. We managed to jag a seat upstairs on our Airbus A380-800 (the largest passenger plane in the world). It was quiet, well serviced and almost pleasant as much as long haul travel can be. A far cry from dwelling with the masses on our Air China fight from Melbourne.
The only thing more satisfying that day than finally arriving in Greece was taking the lift to the rooftop of our hotel building ...

My first conversation in Greek went perfectly, it consisted of only about 5 words but I was quite proud of my efforts! The gentleman receiving my passport also seemed to appreciate the attempt. The dining room on the first floor overlooks the frontispiece of a neighboring building as it stands behind the glass windows and seems like part of the décor. The lights, create the most inviting and relaxing ambience making customers feel comfortable and enjoy to the maximum this outstanding outing.
