Let me just admit it right away--I slept most of the day away in the passenger seat of the Tricked Out F150. (TOF). In order for me to take vacation I had to cram a month of on call nights into 10 days--so pretty tired today. I planned an easy first day for us to drive from Rainier, WA to Crane, OR, mostly on Hwy 26. With all day to cover 300 miles I thought we might stop at Timberline (Mt Hood) or Smith Rock in Redmond. That is my queue to don my jacket, my gloves and my new knit cap. I had done that once already when I walked the dogs so I was very familiar with what awaited me- cold! I started by raising the rear stabilizer jacks from inside the coach using the remote. Smart Mike.

... prior commitments......work. Oh I hate that word.

So we arrived safely in Fruitland, Idaho at the Neat Retreat RV Park around 7:00 PM Mountain Time which is an hour ahead of Oak Harbor. We hit some traffic around Seattle and some rain in various spots. Overall a good trip so far. Some stops were made for gas and food and weak bladders and gas again. Tomorrow we only travel about 6 hours.
