    The palace is magnificent, with beautiful statues and floor mosaics. They weren’t necessarily originally from the palace, but were found during archeological digs in the surrounding areas.

    ... the owner was very friendly. On the other hand, our gelato was cheap at €1 each! It all balances out! One shop owner was quite happy to bend our ear about Greece's financial woes - "it's all politics, all games". My guess is that he voted "no" in the referendum.
