I remember spending my entire first lesson learning how to do a footlock two feet up and weeing myself a little bit whenever the instruction came to do anything other than dangle uselessly. The following day, I could barely pick up my toothbrush for all the seized up pain in my forearms. Turning the page of my book effected a strain similar to the time I tried re-arranging the haybales down the end of the road with my nine-year-old fingertips (and I won't comment on ...

... choice??? So we got to brunch right on 9.30am and stayed until 11.00am for our first sitting – well the kids ducked out early actually, so it was a nice chance for Lyndon and I to just sit quietly for a while. After we had finished Lyndon went back to the cabin and I set up shop at a table to work on the blog. I had been sitting there for a while when I noticed a family sitting next to me and they were eating TIM TAMS!! I had to ...

... such a good time. At half time, the game was pretty sealed so we walked back to the hostel to change out our wet clothes. After a quick stop, our group of six went back out. It was nice to have some guys to go out with on this male-dominated street, I didn't feel so intimidated. We found a tiki bar in a center part of either side of the street. They had a stage and TVs set up there, but we just ordered good Weis beers and sat at a table. I learned new British words ...
