My first day!

A travel blog entry by isabellemccabe on Apr 03, 2015

Yesterday was a long long day! Although it would have been longer and harder for everyone else as they had a crossing to contend with! After a lovely few days in devon visiting family I was finally on my way. After a while in the que to get on the ship, me and Beth who I had met previously on Facebook were told to help pack down all the shops as we are having a refit, it took us all day! We went ...

I spent the rest of the day relaxing and catching up on a few things online while I watched the kids and Rüdiger went to the gym. They were very good while he was gone. Then we had salmon that we bought at the market for dinner. Sehr gut! Overall, pretty nice and relaxing Sunday. Tschüß! -A. ...

... Pretty crazy that the company that makes medication that I take used to produce the product that killed so many innocent people!

After the chocolate factory we went to St Nikolai. St Nikolai is one of the main churches that was right in the middle of the destruction of Operation Gomorrah, the huge bombing attack and firestorm that happened in Hamburg. The entire city centre was virtually flattened and destroyed, either by the bombs or the fire caused by the bombs. All ...
