It was one of our most interesting in terms of travel and navigating, we learned you have to ask at least 4 Greeks for directions and then find a tourist to get the correct directions. Everything is in Greek and is impossible to understand, they don't believe in maps except for hand drawn ones and they talk incredibly fast....now I know where the saying"it's all Greek to me" comes from. Saturday May 28th …today we are traveling from Skiathos to Thessaloniki….the ferry to Volos left Skiathos at 2:15 pm, so we had to catch a ride from the hotel down to the bus stop , then caught a bus to the port to catch the ferry. The ferry ride took 2.5 hours and was really nice…once we got to Volas we had to find the bus station, we asked about 5 different people and got 5 different directions.
