Steve is today's driver but an hour of so into the trip he has a coughing attack and Russell takes the wheel. Today's drive is 260 km but will take us around 3 - 4 hours due to driving through the alps. The country side changes dramatically and becomes so majestic once we enter Switzerland. We ...

    A Walk in the Clouds

We had hoped for better weather today but it's foggy outside in Murren. At breakfast we spoke with the hostess and several other folks staying at the inn. It looks like the best option is to hike down from Murren into the valley where Lauterbrunnen is. At least we an get below the clouds that way. Funny thing, the couple from Florida is staying at the same inn as us and they were ...

There was some construction going on close to the cable car station, but other than that it was very peaceful. The place must be dead quiet at night. It would be a good setting for a murder mystery.

Took the cable car back up to Muerren (with two hyperactive pre-schoolers who didn’t seem to be accompanied by an adult) and ...
