    We leave for Sion today in the Swiss Alps. We are staying in a small alpine village called Nax which is high in the hillside overlooking Sion and the surrounding areas. Steve is today's driver but an hour of so into the trip he has a coughing attack and Russell takes the wheel.     today we caught the train and cable cart back down to lauterbrunnen and then caught a really long train up the other side of the mountain. we decided to ski to grindelwald for lunch but we went the wrong way and ended up at a gondola. we decided to catch it up and it was soooo long. it took half an hour.     ... we could hear but not see. We just couldn't get enough, but the clouds began to blanket the peaks and valleys. Guess they needed a nap and pulled the blanket over basically saying, let me be. The afternoon was filled with a wee bit of snoring and moments listening to the rain drops hit the roof. We dressed for dinner which we had at our hotels restaurant. Then it was off up the valley and to Stechelberg were we just missed the gondola so we waited for ten minutes until it returned.
