... at 8 o'clock it sparkled with flashing lights for 5 mins. It does this every hour. We had spotted some restaurants right next to our apartment so headed back to check them out. Mel had her first French onion soup and Ali had roast chicken. A welcome change from pasta and pizza. So a quick change and ready for lunch at Le Cinq at the George V Four Seasons Hotel. It was raining quite hard by the time we were ready to leave so hopped in a cab. Meeting Jeff's periodontist Paul and his wife Fatima at 1pm. The flowers were extraordinary, deep coral penny's everywhere. Le Cinq has a new chef and word has it ...

... of the left bank then over to the right bank, past many areas that you just wouldn't see otherwise. For me the most memorable would be the roman colosseum and Place de Vosges. The ride is not onerous and takes us past other very cool sites like St Germaine, St Chapelle, the little village of St Paul and Shakespeare and company bookstore. Overall we cycled around 10km. Along the way we stop for lunch in the Latin quarter. My chance to try a local yiros......with ...
