    ... a bit thin and patchy and does not look much better after the wash, but this is down to the poor paint that was used. It needs a good rub down and a coat or 2 of undercoat to give a good base for a proper quality top coat. And that is how the jobs stack up.     It really doesn't feel like twenty days, it feels simultaneously shorter and longer very strange. Today I woke up at a respectable time (getting better!) with a slight hangover so I made me and Nim omelettes and we hung around, planning for tomorrow and packing up a bit.     ... yesterday. We had a light lunch in the museum before taking off to see if we could get into the Lourve. I was skeptical. The lines were shorter than yesterday, but I still felt a long wait coming. Nope, front of the line with our tickets! Now that "Line Jump" ticket worked!     ... I realised she was English speaking and she said that she was pleased that I spoke English. I told her I was pleased to be mistaken for French. I was thrilled to be able to direct her to where she wanted to go, even though I hadn't been there yet myself.

    ... interesting bones. He showed us a skull with a bullet hole, the deformed skull of someone who had the plague and a baby skull. He also pointed out some teeth and told us to take photos with the flash on because they look better!! It's good to have friends in high places.
