Today was a day for another treat. The Villaret and it's chef were recommended by the head chef at Cordon Bleu. We settled on the degustation lunch and it was superb. This restaurant has only a 'bib gourmand' rating in the Michelin guide and accordingly is relaxed, noisy and moderately priced but we see them being upgraded in future. The room is modest but with a wall of grand wines and they switched to french when we asked. A little amuse bouche of leek ...

A stop for dinner and then back on the boat. (Oops, i forgot to tell you that Cam's tooth fell out over dinner). We were headed to the Eiffel Tower to see the night lights sparkle. It was just so magical! Metro train home, showers and into ...

... places we go here we get a soundtrack, with buskers everywhere. We wandered down this street with lots of little cafés and got ourselves some crepes with bananas and chocolate sauce. The chocolate was insanely good! Then it was off to ten Champs de Élysées on our way to the Arc de Triomphe, which is in the centre of the city. It is a beautiful arch, built by Naploeon to welcome his victorious soldiers home from ...
