    ... were doing things (though I still didn't know that I had prevented 2 of them from sleeping the night before.) When they came back with shovels and what looked like farming supplies, we prepared the fields (and tried to remove the literally buried trees from the sand.) Then we walked back (it turns out to be about a mile) to the parking lot to bring about 20 gallons of water, and alot of other foods (melons, sandwiches, beer, coke products, cakes) to sell at the fields.     ... years. We are meeting her at a place called Chez Peret. It is on the southern edge of Paris at 8:00 pm. Typical time for dinner in Paris. It was just great, the room and service were charming, and the pinot we ordered with Jim Muller in mind was a perfect match for the escargots and onion soup and a fair compromise with the beef bourguignon and fish stew (a marmite).
