My first Sunday in France, called Dimanche in French, was very peaceful and the weather was also great. I met the best friends of my host parents at a barbecue held at the house of one of their houses. ... wind turbines scattered among great metal power towers. My brain still isn't up to speed with driving on right side of road. Fields of crops as far as the eye can see - have never seen so many fields of crops. There were spinach and beans , onions, potatoes and field upon fields of corn I Haven't seen any dams yet - I did see huge irrigator but no water reservoirs - not sure where the water comes from. ... Unfortunately the signs did not have an English translation so it was a quite visit. I then found the stained glass shop and explored it for quite a while. There were some amazing stained glass panels as well as copper foiled lamps, jewellery, mobiles and coasters. At the local cafe area near the hotel a very well fed (carrying quite a bit of condition) was guarding the entrance of an antique shop. The attracted the attention of all passers by - commenting on its size - HUGE! ...
