... We both recognized 'Canada house' from old movies. It was the first success story of the D-day invasion as it was the first home liberated by a Canadian rifle team and it remains 'occupied' by them today. Again it was nice to just wander by the beach and appreciate the mix of old and new in the village behind. With a little effort our next destination was the Canadian cemetery on route back to Caen. ... I don't usually get lost. It's just all my lost stories are really funny and my I'm not lost stories end up in oh so I did pick the right path to the memorial! But the most mattering it is because we went to visit the Cean Memorial and Museum history and civilization.
It is very beautiful !
