... is our guide. Both towns are medieval. Gourdon is perched 2200 feet above sea level and only 15 people live here. The church is is from the 10th C and the village is from the 12th. St Paul is the second most visited town in France, after Mont St Michel. It is also on the top of a hill but not as dramatic as Gourdon. However it is really beautiful and has many tiny streets full ...

... to do, a goal perhaps ;) Franca, Mariana and I headed to Monaco that afternoon. They are both from Argentina but aren't traveling together. It was amazing to learn the restrictions placed on the Argentinian people to deter them from leaving their country. They have to plan well in advance if they are leaving and there are huge taxes added to the use of there credit cards when used outside the country. Cannes seen and done, we headed back to the station to catch the train home, our second day living like the wealthy over as we wandered back to the campground.

... br> The only other thing to mention about dinner was we noticed a table of Australians getting up to leave after their meal. As they walked out Mike got a bit excited then told me that one of the Aussies was Daniel Ricciardo, the Australian Formula 1 driver. The Monaco Grand Prix is on in a few days so he must be spending some time in Nice with family and friends.
