... at Blueys, Engagements, Weddings, children and now a wonderful holiday in southern corsica.
There was much excitement on our approach. The kids would be hanging out with other kids (Thomas & Daisy) and we would be catching up with old friends. It's true what they say about old gloves, or old shoes in this case, they always make for a great fit.
Our days were filled with epic games of boules, stink boats ...
... supermarket. Found one in the resort but it was closed. Decided to have some lunch ashore, which wasn't bad and then just chilled in the afternoon.
Saturday 22 August
Today moved further east and a little south. The coast line is just something (rewind and
press play!!!). The scenery as we were approaching our next destination is just magnificent – mountains in the background.
Anchored just outside the marina (Connigione) and ventured ashore ...
... water is just the clearest aquamarine and you can see quite clearly to the bottom. We're entering the Smeralda (Emerald) coast.

The winds were pretty strong during the night so we got up in the middle of it and folded up the bemini which was rattling due to the wind. This gave us the chance to see the night sky which was impressive as well as witnessing another thunderstorm in ...
Sunday 2nd August
We left Port Vecchio and sailed for about 2 hours into another bay not far from the next town put down the anchor and had more swimming.
What a delightful day, water temp about 25deg, we donned our bathers and dived in, the water was so refreshing....we haven't swam so much in a short amount of days,!!!!!!
Had lunch, sun baked and left about 4pm to sail into Propriano arriving at 5.30pm.
Sunday 1st August,
We pulled out of Santa Teresa at 10am and sailed to a protected swimming bay in Corsica.
Yannick the Captain said he would put the anchor down so we could swim.
I took photos of Glen hard at work tying us up at the wharf.
After a beautiful lunch consisting of squid, and scallops with fried rice with a 'divine' tasting sauce and a bean salad. ' oh ...
