Driving from Lucerne to Barcelona was a 2 day affair of just driving. We said goodbye to the Swiss Alps on Friday morning and travelled back into France where we spent the night at Chateau de Fontager.

This week the crew trekked off to Firminy, which is a little French town that's about 3 hours away from our little humble abode. Provence was just beautiful and I believe we could easily have spent another week there, leaving more time to just sit and do nothing and take in its charm. If/when we ever come back to Provence (or anywhere in France) Ed vowed to be more diligent about learning the language...definitely comes in handy even more so when you are in the countryside.
