... and miles. Once we reached Dunkirk we stopped at the hypermarket to buy wine and cheese. After we had shopped we drove to Gravelines,situated between Dunkirk and Calais. We crossed the Channel on Eurotunnel late afternoon after driving down 250 miles from Yorkshire. Got an earlier crossing than that which was booked and landed on French soil at 3:30 pm, or should I say, 4:30 pm local French time.
