I figured that while Alyssa was busy typing away at a serious blog entry that I would update you on the feast that we just took on.
Four course dinner? That won't be too much... Or so I thought. I started off my meal with the most gourmet salad that I've ever had placed in front of me. Goat cheese, tomatoes, fancy lettuce and a mustard vinaigrette made it ...

Lastly, even though I felt slightly inconvenienced about nothing being open, I understand the importance of Armistice Day (and Remembrance Day back home). Especially after being at Juno beach only a few days ago. The Europe Josh and I are enjoying right now would never be the same if not for the sacrifices made by the men and women who served.
We will remember them.

Thank goodness, the sun is back, another warm (20C) and sunny day.
After yesterdays lame excuse ...
... has been furnished by someone who likes to acquire "interesting things".
There are not many tables, perhaps seven or eight. When we arrive three tables are occupied. We notice, one couple are in the process of eating their meal, the other two couples have not yet ordered, or, are finished, we are unsure which, but, this becomes significant, read on.

.St Etienne has special meaning for Rob and I. In the late 70's, possibly early 80's Man Utd had crowd problems when playing in the European Cup.
As a punishment their game against St Etienne had to be played anywhere but ...
