After another good, typical breakfast at the hotel in Voiron, I packed up, got ready to leave, and went to the front desk to settle my bill. There was a problem. First, we were (slightly) overcharged for our rooms. Definitely not cool and we'll be following up with booking.com later. Second, the charges for food and …

... hill, pretty nippy today with low cloud cover. We got back to Allemont by decided to stop for an ice cream then do a lap around the lake. Quiet afternoon with showers and a load a smelly washing, then we went out for dinner as we have no gas to cook with. We both had pasta in bolognaise sauce. Cold and rainy this afternoon, but still able to wander through the town of Allemont. A nice quiet rest day ...

... the life!! We cruised back down the Alpe d'huez and again turned off at corner 4 and went down via Allemont. We stopped at the lake and dipped our toes in, but nippy but enjoyable! Then home - heed mtbikes for tomorrow and got some groceries for dinner. Another sneaky shower and the caravan park around the corner then off to bed. We're pretty exhausted after all this riding - we climbed 7000m over 350kms this week :) Definitely earnt our ...
