Decided to take a morning excursion to Cassis even though we planned to disembark a day early in Marseille - turned out to be a great decision as we probably would not have bothered to get ourselves there on our own, & it is a beautiful town! Especially loved the little boat trip to three of the closest calanques. Soaked up the sunshine at a waterside café then wandered through the narrow back streets & through the bustling local market.

Then food is called for so..........out that door we go although all I want to do is to soak bruised knuckles and shins and crash - I am way beyond food.
