Weather defeats us. Porto Vecchio, Corsica, France, is shrouded in clouds, the horizon alternately veiled and not. Porto-vecchio Corsica
... bus so we walked all the way back to the tender boat. The trip back was horrendous with water coming in from the swell of the waves. One man decided he was getting too wet so he just pushed past a large woman who pushed past Moh , nearly sending her flying. Peace at last...
All the guests have now left and things have calmed down dramatically. We had a few busy days towards the end of last week with lots of boat trips and not much work – but hey, who am I to complain? On Friday we took the boat over to La Maddalena (island across the water from us) for lunch and then spent the afternoon in the most gorgeous little cove – huge sandy coloured rocks and the most beautiful turquoise water. ... so fast. Once I got back I dived straight into the sea – so cool that I started and ended the day with a gorgeous swim!
Tonight, the dinner conversation finally moved from curing cancer, directing Oscar nominated animated features and taking the Internet down to an A to Z of 80’s pop bands! Phew – these people are normal after all…
